Everybody in the North Huntingdon region --well really, pretty nearly everybody in America! -- decorates their homes for Thanksgiving.
North Huntingdon residents, let’s start a new tradition and decorate our cars for Thanksgiving!
Think of the places that people would get a kick out of seeing your decorated car: Your Thanksgiving Day High School football game for one! Your in-laws as you pull into their driveway for Thanksgiving Dinner!
And here’s another good thought: Why not drive your Thanksgiving Day Decorated car, loaded with donations, to the local food bank?
Those in need of assistance, as well as the staff at your local food bank and shelters, would probably get a lift and give back a smile for your artistry.

A turkey magnet that works on the refrigerator will work as well on the car. Then, there are always streamers in colorful Thanksgiving shades of orange, brown and yellow.
And what about those paper turkey fold outs? You can put one in the back window of your vehicle, as long as you don’t obstruct your vision.
The truly ambitious and creative can spray paint Thanksgiving Scenes onto the sides, hood and trunk of their cars.
Or, how about dressing up as Pilgrims and riding in your convertible? North Huntingdon traffic police would probably laugh so hard you wouldn’t get a ticket.
Or try turning your car into a cornucopia – loaded with fruits or vegetables!

Seriously, Don't Try This!
Here’s a site showing cars from the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
But decorating your car for Thanksgiving is truly a new idea. So, you’ll have to rely mostly on your own creativity.
Let’s start a trend. Email a link to this story to your friends in the North Huntingdon area and invite them to decorate their cars and trucks for Thanksgiving this year too!
